Having CJ as our wedding photographer was the smoothest most stress free part of our wedding planning.
CJ traveled to Illinois to shoot our wedding, he arrived 2 days early and he photographed our rehearsal in addition to the wedding. Before we even met CJ in person he felt like a friend. He is an expert communicator, and very dependable. We didn’t have a wedding planner/ coordinator, so in putting everything together ourselves, plans throughout the weekend had to change quite a bit. CJ was so flexible the whole weekend. He was there when we were setting up our wedding the day before. While I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off CJ had an unwavering confidence and positivity that was extremely uplifting. CJ truly was a blessing to us in so many ways. CJ made us feel so comfortable the whole weekend. As a couple who doesn’t know what to do in front of a camera, CJ was so helpful in giving us prompts to help us get different photos throughout the day, while making sure to get plenty of photos of us just being ourselves. CJ has a perfect balance of getting plenty of photos, while also not letting the day feel like one big photo shoot. CJ is on top of his game when it comes to getting the super special small moments, and the important big moments. He doesn’t miss a thing. When we got our full gallery back we were overwhelmed with emotions reliving the most special day. We were so surprised by the amount of pictures we got back that we didn’t even know were being taken! CJ captured all of the special memories so perfectly without interjection. Before the wedding we gave CJ a list of photos we wanted, but during the wedding there were so many moments to pop up that weren’t on our shot list. Without fail CJ was observing each one of those moments happening and captured them all perfectly. Hiring CJ to be our wedding photographer was the best money we spent on the wedding. For the rest of our lives we will get to relive the day with album CJ created. He truly is an artist, a wonderful person, and a blessing to be around. I will recommend CJ to anyone wanting their memories put into photos!
